View and analyze inventory transactions to understand inventory movements and support reporting and analysis.

Overview

Transaction views help you:
  • View all inventory transactions
  • Analyze transaction patterns
  • Track consumption and usage
  • Support reporting and analysis
  • Investigate inventory movements

Transaction Types

​
Inbound Transactions

  • Receipts: Inventory received from suppliers
  • Transfers In: Inventory transferred in from other locations
  • Adjustments Up: Inventory adjustments that increase quantity
  • Returns: Customer returns

​
Outbound Transactions

  • Shipments: Inventory shipped to customers
  • Transfers Out: Inventory transferred out to other locations
  • Adjustments Down: Inventory adjustments that decrease quantity
  • Consumption: Inventory consumed or used

Transaction Overview

View all transactions:
  1. Navigate to Improve → Transactions → Overview
  2. Select time range and filters
  3. Review all transactions
  4. Drill down into transaction details

Transaction Consumption

View consumption transactions:
  1. Navigate to Improve → Transactions → Consumption
  2. Select time range and filters
  3. Review consumption patterns
  4. Analyze consumption by product, location, or channel

Transaction Request Details

View request-related transactions:
  1. Navigate to Improve → Transactions → Request Details
  2. Select time range and filters
  3. Review transactions related to stock requests
  4. Analyze request fulfillment patterns

Transaction Summary

View transaction summary:
  1. Navigate to Improve → Transactions → Summary
  2. Select time range and filters
  3. Review transaction summary metrics
  4. Analyze transaction trends

Transaction Details

Each transaction includes:
  • Transaction Type: Type of transaction
  • Date and Time: When the transaction occurred
  • Product: Product involved
  • Location: Location involved
  • Quantity: Quantity change
  • Reference: Reference number or document
  • User: User who created the transaction
Filter transactions by:
  • Time Range: Select date range
  • Transaction Type: Filter by transaction type
  • Product: Filter by product
  • Location: Filter by location
  • Reference: Search by reference number

Permissions & Roles

Viewing transactions requires inventory.read or reports.read permission. Transaction details may be limited based on location and product access.
