The Stock Analytics dashboard provides insights into inventory trends, patterns, and performance to support decision-making.

Overview

Stock Analytics helps you:
  • Analyze inventory trends over time
  • Identify patterns in inventory levels
  • Monitor inventory performance metrics
  • Support planning and optimization decisions

Key Metrics

Inventory Value

  • Total Inventory Value: Current value of all inventory
  • By Location: Inventory value by location
  • By Product: Inventory value by product
  • By Channel: Inventory value allocated to channels

Inventory Levels

  • Average Stock Levels: Average inventory levels over time
  • Stock Turnover: How quickly inventory is sold
  • Days of Supply: Days of inventory on hand
  • Stock-to-Sales Ratio: Ratio of stock to sales

Inventory Health

  • Aging Inventory: Inventory by age
  • Slow-Moving Items: Items with low movement
  • Fast-Moving Items: Items with high movement
  • Dead Stock: Inventory with no movement

Analytics Views

Trend Analysis

View inventory trends over time:
  • Inventory Levels: Trend of inventory levels
  • Inventory Value: Trend of inventory value
  • Stock Turnover: Trend of stock turnover
  • Days of Supply: Trend of days of supply

Location Analysis

Analyze inventory by location:
  • Inventory Distribution: How inventory is distributed across locations
  • Location Performance: Performance metrics by location
  • Location Trends: Trends by location

Product Analysis

Analyze inventory by product:
  • Product Performance: Performance metrics by product
  • Product Trends: Trends by product
  • Product Mix: Distribution of inventory across products

Filters and Time Ranges

Filter analytics by:
  • Time Range: Select date range for analysis
  • Location: Filter by location
  • Product: Filter by product or category
  • Channel: Filter by channel

Common Workflows

  1. Navigate to SenseStock Analytics
  2. Select a time range (e.g., last 30 days, last quarter)
  3. Review trend charts for inventory levels and value
  4. Identify patterns and anomalies

Identifying Slow-Moving Items

  1. Navigate to SenseStock Analytics
  2. View “Slow-Moving Items” report
  3. Review items with low movement
  4. Consider markdowns or reallocation

Monitoring Inventory Health

  1. Navigate to SenseStock Analytics
  2. Review “Inventory Health” metrics
  3. Check aging inventory and dead stock
  4. Take action on problematic items

Stock Analytics requires analytics.read or inventory.read permission. Some advanced analytics may require additional permissions.
