Shipments
Shipments represent physical movement of inventory between locations or to customers.
Shipment Types
Outbound Shipments
Shipments going out from your location:
- Customer Orders: Shipments to customers
- Transfers: Shipments to other locations
- Returns: Return shipments to suppliers
Inbound Shipments
Shipments coming into your location:
- Purchase Orders: Receiving from suppliers
- Transfers: Receiving from other locations
- Returns: Customer returns
Transfer Shipments
Shipments between your locations:
- Inter-Location Transfers: Moving inventory between locations
- Replenishment: Replenishing one location from another
Creating a Shipment
- Navigate to Run → Shipments
- Click Create Shipment
- Select:
- Shipment Type: Outbound, Inbound, or Transfer
- Origin Location: Where shipment originates
- Destination Location: Where shipment is going
- Items: Products and quantities to ship
Shipment Workflow
- Create: Create shipment with items
- Validate: Validate inventory availability
- Pick: Pick items from inventory (if applicable)
- Pack: Pack items for shipment
- Ship: Mark as shipped
- Receive: Destination receives shipment (if inbound/transfer)
Tracking Shipments
View shipment status:
- Created: Shipment created
- Picking: Items being picked
- Packed: Items packed, ready to ship
- Shipped: Shipment in transit
- Received: Shipment received at destination
- Completed: Shipment fully processed
