Getting Started
Better Data is a commerce chain optimization platform: an operational philosophy for running supply and demand operations with operational authority — clear truth in the chain, governed decisions (including human approval), controlled connectivity for AI and systems, and operational trust at the physical edge. Better Data is not a “workflow automation” category story; task patterns such as approvals and transfers are specific operational flows inside this model.

Sense → Decide → Approve → Execute → Improve. Governance becomes tangible through approvals, policy, evidence, and authority — not abstract “govern” as a separate afterthought.

The engines are Apache-2.0 and composable where published; you can self-host. The hosted platform adds tenancy, governance and Industry Pack overlays, operational coordination, trust surfaces, management, auditability, and enterprise SLA.
The hosted app is the same product shell for identity, workspace, analytics, and expansion—not a separate product line. Use the links below from docs so entry context is preserved (sp and UTM parameters). After sign-up or sign-in, you land on a source-aware getting-started experience; OSS project sites remain the home for open-source downloads and project news.
