Rate Limits

API requests are subject to rate limits to ensure fair usage and system stability.

Rate Limit Headers

Rate limit information is included in response headers:

1X-RateLimit-Limit: 1000
2X-RateLimit-Remaining: 999
3X-RateLimit-Reset: 1640995200

Rate Limit Tiers

Handling Rate Limits

When rate limit is exceeded:

  1. Status Code: 429 Too Many Requests
  2. Retry-After: Header indicates when to retry
  3. Backoff: Implement exponential backoff

Scope: Workspace-scoped — requires authenticated organization context and valid credentials for that workspace.

Permissions & Roles

Rate limits are per organization. Contact your organization administrator to upgrade your rate limit tier.
